CMS Collecting ICHRA Case Studies
CMS is interested in gathering case studies to understand the experiences of employers offering individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements (ICHRAs) to their employees, and we invite you to support our case study collection efforts.
Attached to this article is an information collection form, which gives employer groups an opportunity to provide key data to CMS that could help improve ICHRA rules and regulations, inform CMS’ education efforts around ICHRAs to build the overall market, and ensure that employers and employees have affordable choices for health insurance. Additionally, academic researchers may be interested in diving deeper into these case studies in the future, so the information you provide in the attached form may support future research efforts into HRAs and the employee benefits landscape.
If interested in participating, please complete one form in its entirety per each employer that implemented an ICHRA and wishes to participate, and return the completed forms to back to the ICHRA Alliance at firstname.lastname@example.org or directly to CMS by email at HRA@cms.hhs.gov.
Please aim to return these case study forms by April 16, 2021. If you need more time to contact ICHRA employers and collect the necessary information, please let us know, and we will accommodate your needs.
